Akastroid Cloud would process a session for people who do not have a computer to run the app on - a smart telescope, a phone, and a night's worth of files. Upload, wait, download a finished image.

Upload from anywhere
Phone, tablet or browser. Drop in the frames your telescope saved - FITS, RAW, video - and close the tab. No computer, no installing anything.
The same pipeline
The frames are graded, the bad ones rejected, the rest aligned, stacked, gradient-removed, colour-calibrated and stretched - by the same engine as the desktop app, on a machine we run.
The finished image back
An email when it is done, usually within the hour. Three finished styles, a 16-bit TIFF, and the full log of every decision - the same as the app gives you.

- Nothing about the desktop app changes. It still runs entirely on your computer and uploads nothing, ever. Cloud is a separate, opt-in service.

Can I process Seestar or Dwarf frames without a computer?
Not yet with any mature service. Every serious tool runs on a Mac or PC. Akastroid Cloud is being built for exactly this: upload the saved frames from a phone or tablet, get the finished image back by email. Join the waitlist and you hear first.
What would it cost?
The plan in mind is about $12 a month for 15 sessions, cancel any time. Tell us on the form if that is the wrong number - the answers decide the price as much as the build.
What happens to my frames?
Raw frames would be deleted 30 days after upload and finished images after 90. You download what you want to keep. Nothing is used for anything except producing your image.
Does this change the desktop app?
No. The desktop app runs entirely on your computer and uploads nothing, ever - that stays true. Cloud is a separate, opt-in service for people who do not have a computer to run the app on.
Which telescopes and files would it support?
The same engine as the desktop app: FITS from Seestar, Dwarf, Vespera and any astro camera, camera RAW, XISF, and SER or AVI planetary video. Bayer patterns and missing header fields are handled the way the desktop app handles them.
How big is an upload?
A 90-minute Seestar session is roughly 540 FITS files and about 10 GB. Uploads would be resumable and compressed, so a dropped connection continues rather than restarts.
Longer answer: can you process astrophotos online, without a computer?
